On 19 March 2014, the Human Rights Council adopted the Universal Periodic Review outcome on Senegal. Amnesty International delivered this statement at the Council, calling on Senegal to ratify the Second Optional Protocol to ICCPR and to protect the rights of LGBTI persons.
