Rwanda: Appeal cases – “No one is talking about it anymore”

These six appeal cases try to personalize some of the issues covered in the report by illustrating who are the victims of killings in Rwanda and the circumstances in which they are killed. Their aim is to raise awareness of the human rights situation in Rwanda and create publicity around AI’ s concerns, thus generating pressure on both the Rwandese Government and the international community to take steps towards preventing the high level of deliberate killings, to protect potential victims and to identify and bring to justice the perpetrators.
