Alhaja Kudirat Abiola (f), aged 44, businesswoman, Moshood Abiola, aged 58, winner of 1993 presidential elections; Alhaji Ganiyu Dawodu, aged 63, Chief Ayo Adebanjo, aged 69, former Senator Abraham Adesanya, aged 74: The three senior members of the National Democratic Coalition, arrested in connection with the murder of Alhaja Kudirat Abiola, remain in detention, as a result of a court’s adjournment. Amnesty International believes that they are prisoners of conscience.
