Nigeria: The World Bank Inspection Panel’s early solutions pilot approach: the case of Badia East, Nigeria

In July 2014 the World Bank Inspection Panel decided not to register a Request for Inspection made by people who had been subjected to a forced eviction in Badia East, Lagos, Nigeria. The Panel’s decision not to register the Request followed the use of a new approach – the ‘pilot approach to support early solutions in the Inspection Panel process’.
