Côte D'ivoire : One year after his kidnapping, the fate of Guy-André Kieffer remains unknown
Amnesty International is concerned that the investigation into the kidnapping of Guy-André Kieffer has made no progress due to unexplained obstacles and blocking by the Ivorian and French authorities. One year ago, Guy-André Kieffer, an independent French-Canadian journalist, was kidnapped in Abidjan. His fate remains unknown to this day. Since then, and despite the opening of three judicial investigations, in Côte d'Ivoire, France and Canada, no significant progress seems to have been made in throwing light on this kidnapping.
