Brígida Asongsua Elo, who is detained without charge or trial in Malabo Central Police Station, is being denied access to the medical treatment she needs. She is suffering from hypertension, for which she only receives sporadic treatment. She continues to be held in harsh conditions which amount to cruel and degrading treatment. She is being held in a common cell together with 70 to 100 mainly male detainees.
