Burundi: An opportunity to confront torture and impunity: Memorandum to the Transitional Government of Burundi and to the international community
This Memorandum addresses some key human rights issues on which Amnesty International, Burundian and other international human rights organizations have campaigned for many years. It provides recommendations, which should be incorporated into the reform of institutions, and which would in particular prevent further torture and address institutionalized impunity.
