Sexual rights are human rights: Defending women defending rights
This leaflet focuses on the work done by women human rights defenders defending sexual rights. It considers the risks faced that are specific to their gender and in addition to those faced by men. Case studies illustrate the harassment of sexual rights activists, including LGBT and AIDS/HIV campaigners. In conclusion, the leaflet asks its readers to call on home governments to recognize the legitimacy of the work of women human rights defenders campaigning for sexual rights.
