Guantánamo Bay - a human rights scandal. Over 10,000 letters of protest have been sent to US authorities on behalf of six men, all foreign nationals, held under a US Military Order at the US Naval Base in Guantánamo Bay in Cuba. This document looks at the cases of two of these detainees, both Britons and provides background information about Guantánamo Bay, Amnesty International's opposition of trial by military commissions and refers to first hand accounts of three UK citizens released in March 2004.
