This is the text of a statement by AI to the Review Conference of the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe, taking place in Budapest from 10 October to 2 December 1994. It reviews developements on the death penalty in CSCE states. The appendix lists the status of the death penalty in each of the CSCE participating states.
