Control Arms: Parliamentary Declaration in support of an Arms Trade Treaty
In October 2007, at the United Nations General Assembly, Control Arms launched a Parliamentary Declaration in support of a global Arms Trade Treaty (ATT). Since 2007, Control Arms partners and other organizations around the world have collected over 2,000 signatures from parliamentarians in 124 countries. This Declaration, from Amnesty International, International Action Network on Small Arms (IANSA) and Oxfam International, is a reminder to UN member states that parliamentarians from their countries are watching and encouraging them to support the resolution.
