Macedonia: Summary. “Little by little we women have learned our rights”: The Macedonian government’s failure to uphold the rights of Romani women and girls

This document is a summary of the report EUR 65/004/2007 which provides evidence of discrimination against Romani women and documents human rights violations to which Romani women and girls in Macedonia are exposed. In particular it examines the obstacles they face in accessing three basic human rights: the right to education, the right to work and the right to health, enshrined in the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights.
