Eritrea: Follow-up measures needed to address systematic human rights violations: Amnesty International’s oral statement to the 28th session of the UN Human Rights Council (2-27 March 2015)

With human rights continuing to be systematically violated in Eritrea, the UN Commission of Inquiry on Human Rights in Eritrea has an important opportunity not only to bring to light the stories of victims of human rights violations in the country, but also to lay groundwork for justice, truth and reparation, including guarantees of non-recurrence.
