Zimbabwe: International legal framework on the right to adequate food

The right to adequate food is enshrined in the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ICESCR), to which Zimbabwe is party. It is an important component of the right of everyone to an adequate standard of living. The right to adequate food is fundamental for the enjoyment of all human rights.
