United Kingdom: “I want justice”

In November 2005 Amnesty International representatives met with four men and their families, who have effectively been persecuted by the UK authorities for nearly four years. This report contains their testimonies. Three of the men are Algerian, and cannot be named as a result of a contempt of court order ban; they are known only by letters allocated to them by the courts, namely: “A”, “G” and “H”. The fourth man, Mahmoud Abu Rideh, is a stateless Palestinian. They are all Muslim. Amnesty International calls on the UK authorities to desist immediately from persecuting these men and their families.
