Mohamed C., a Chadian national born and brought up in Saudi Arabia, moved abroad because he feared discrimination. He went to Pakistan, shortly before September 2001. In October 2001, 15 year-old Mohamed was praying in a mosque when it was raided by Pakistani police. Mohamed ended up in Guantánamo Bay Naval Base, Cuba, where he remains to this day. A Combatant Status Review Tribunal determined that he was an “enemy combatant”. Action is called for so that allegations of torture can be investigated and for the detainees to be given full and trials or released.
