Cuba: Prisoners of conscience: 71 longing for freedom

In this document, Amnesty International expresses its concern about 71 prisoners of conscience in Cuba, who the organization believes have been detained on politically motivated charges for the peaceful exercise of fundamental freedoms.Once again AI calls on the Cuban government to immediately and unconditionally release all 71 prisoners of conscience. This report gives an update of the 71 prisoners of conscience, including 69 previously recognised and two new cases: Raúl Arenciba Fajardo and Virgilio Marantes Guelmes.
