UN Human Rights Council: Criteria for a successful outcome of the Review of Special Procedures

In UN General Assembly’s resolution 60/251 establishing the Human Rights Council member states decided that ” the Council shall assume, review… all mandates, mechanisms, functions and responsibilities of the Commission on Human Rights … the Council shall complete this review within one year after the holding of its first session”. This document outlines the criteria for a successful outcome of the Special Procedures review.
