Indonesia: Robin Kimbi, Masri Sebayang and Sruhas Towo : [Global letter-writing marathon 2006]

Robin Kimbi, Masri Sebayang and Sruhas Towo were arrested following a strike and demonstration at a palm oil plantation in September 2005. The three men were sentenced in early 2006 to prison terms of between 14 months and two years. Amnesty International believes that they have been targeted because of their legitimate roles as union leaders and considers them to be prisoners of conscience and therefore seeks their immediate release.
