Siti Zainab Binti Duhri Rupa, a mother of two, has been detained in Medina Prison in Saudi Arabia since 1999. A migrant domestic worker, she allegedly confessed to the murder of her employer during police interrogation. She was convicted and sentenced to death. In this case sheet Amnesty International calls on the Saudi Arabian authorities to commute her death sentence and to ensure that she is given full access to legal representation, translation facilities and medical assistance if necessary.
