Iran: Imminent execution / legal concern: Mohammad Feda’i

Mohammad Feda’i is facing imminent execution for a murder committed when he was 17 years old. He was convicted after an unfair trial. Iran is a state party to international treaties including the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), which expressly prohibit the execution of those below the age of 18 at the time of the commission of the offence. According to news reports, he is scheduled to be executed on or around 11 June 2008.
