Human rights education in formal education: Lessons learned from the Rights Education Action Programme

The Rights Education Action Programme (REAP) is a 10 year-long international human rights education initiative led by Amnesty International Norway. This document sets out the lessons learned thus far from this initiative about human rights education in formal education. These include working with central and local governments; training educators; and innovation in learning resources. As well as lessons learned, the document includes key recommendations from REAP.
