Israel and the Occupied Territories: Torture / legal concern: Khaled Farraj

Khaled Farraj, from Jalazone Refugee Camp, was arrested on 21 March 1995. He was held under interrogation in incommunicado detention by the General Security Service (GSS) for 21 days after his arrest, during which time he alleges he was subjected to torture and ill-treatment. He was allegedly told that he would continue to be interrogated until a confession was obtained. He has not been informed of any charges against him.
