Indonesia: Further information on possible prisoners of conscience / fear of torture

24 students: Victor Yasadhana, Haris Rusli, Nining, Adjie, Gusti, Nita, Gandung, Jhon, Rubi, Nuraini, Admo, Hikmah, Bambang, Waljiyah, Rubaidah, Tommy, Yudi, Kamal Al Baity, Susi Ifaty, Ima, Eka, Tutut, Gina, Danang; and new names: Titok Haryanto, Aman, Hari Prabow, Indit, Aturma, Agung, Ardiansyah, Maria Karmelia: A protest against the arrest on 1 April of 24 students in Yogyakarta, Central Java, has resulted in eight further arrests and beatings of protestors in the city on 2 April. Amnesty International remains concerned that those detained may be prisoners of conscience and that they are at risk of torture or ill-treatment in detention.
