Turkey: Torture: Cevat Soysal

Amnesty International is gravely concerned at reports that Cevat Soysal, a Turkish citizen who had been granted political asylum in Germany in 1995 was severely tortured while held at the National Intelligence Agency in Ankara and later at Ankara Police Headquarters. He was reportedly apprehended in Moldova on 13 July 1999 and flown to Turkey later that day.
