Argentina: Amicus Curiae brief on the incompatibility with international law of the Full Stop and Due Obedience Laws

Amnesty International, the International Commission of Jurists and Human Rights Watch have submitted an Amicus Curiae brief on the incompatibility of Argentinian Laws N1. 23,492 of 12 December 1986 and N1. 23,521 of 4 June 1987 with international law and, in particular, with Argentina’s obligation to prosecute and punish the perpetrators of gross human rights violations, for consideration by Court II of the Camara Nacional en lo Criminal y Correccional Federal, National Chamber for Federal Criminal and Correctional Matters.
