Democratic Republic of Congo: Ituri – How many more have to die ?

This report follows a three-week research mission to eastern DRC and neighbouring Uganda. The report details abuses committed against civilians including mass killings and sexual violence as well as mass displacement of the population into makeshift camps. It also looks at the limitations and failures of the international peace-keeping forces. Amnesty International concludes that the need for effective intervention by the international community to end the conflict remains as urgent as ever.
