In this statement, delivered on 1 March 2021 during the Item 2 General Debate at the 46th regular session of the UN Human Rights Council, Amnesty International addressed the human rights impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic; and the need for the Council to address human rights crises in Ethiopia and the Philippines.
