In this submission to the United Nations, Vanuatu’s human rights record on equality, gender, children’s rights and climate justice comes under review and gaps in human rights protection are highlighted. In particular, Vanuatu has failed to adequately protect marginalised groups from discrimination and ensure substantive gender equality in law, policy and practice.
