Arbind Kumar Tamoli and Raju Nau were arrested on 17 September in Banke District, Nepal, after police officers claimed they were in possession of a pistol and bullets. Since their arrests, they have been repeatedly tortured by unidentified police officers. They are currently in detention and remain at risk of further torture and other ill-treatment.
