In this submission, Amnesty International provides information as stipulated in the General Guidelines for the Preparation of Information under the Universal Periodic Review. Amnesty International calls for the Criminal Code to be amended in accordance with current standards of international criminal law related to prosecution of war crimes of sexual violence. Amnesty International also expresses concerns about the failure of the authorities to protect witnesses in cases of war crimes of sexual violence and the failure to provide the survivors of such crimes with meaningful measures of reparation.
