Amnesty International has just learned that Rosario Ladronio was released from
detention at 3.30pm on 22 December 1990. She has reported that she was detained
by elements of the 202 Infantry Brigade of the Philippines Army based at barangay
Liwin, Lumban in Laguna Province.
Rosario Ladronio said she was not hurt by her captors and was returned to her

Amnesty International was concerned for the safety of Rosario Ladronio,

in barangay San Benito, Victoria, Laguna province. The organization was also
concerned for the safety of Rosario Ladronio's baby, who was apparently at
risk of abduction.
