This is a longer version of the Amnesty International statement delivered by Christopher Keith Hall, Senior Legal Adviser, International Justice Project, at the Second International Expert Meeting on War Crimes, Genocide and Crimes against Humanity, 16 June 2005, Interpol, Lyon. The statement reviewed a few of the positive developments at the national level in the fight against impunity, informed of activities of Amnesty International and other non-governmental organizations, identified challenges and made a few suggestions for further work within the Interpol framework and elsewhere.
