Dr. Oscar Elías Biscet González, human rights activist, is due to be tried on 25 February 2000. Amnesty International is calling for his immediate and unconditional release as a prisoner of conscience. Two other dissidents, Eduardo Díaz Fleitas and Fermín Scull Zulueta, are to be tried by the same court on the same day as Oscar Biscet.
