It has been three years since the Cuban government's crackdown on dissent brought 75 persons to prison solely for the peaceful exercise of their right to freedom of expression, assembly and association. In this document Amnesty International calls once more on the Cuban authorities to release all prisoners of conscience immediately and unconditionally. The organization also calls on the authorities to revoke all legislation that restricts freedom of expression, assembly and association, and to put a halt to all actions to harass and intimidate dissidents, journalists, and human rights defenders.
