Senegal: Comments by Amnesty International on the second periodic report submitted to the United Nations Committee against Torture

In November 1995 the UN Committee against Torture will study the second periodic report presented by Senegal concerning the application of the UN Convention against Torture. The report details the measures taken by Senegal to prevent torture. AI is concerned about the information it receives that indicate the practice of torture in Senegal is widespread.
