Akhmad Azimov (m), Russian national

Maskhud Abdullaev and Akhmed Azimov were forcibly retuned to Moscow on 19 June on an EgyptAir flight. They were detained by men in plain clotheson arrival at Moscow Domodedovo airport, and taken to separate rooms for questioning. Maskhud Abdullaev has not been seen since, and his whereabouts are unknown. Heis now the subject of UA 170/09 (EUR 46/013/2009). Akhmed Azimov was released after a few hours.

The four other Russians had been deported to Moscow on 18 June also on an EgyptAir flight. They were questioned upon arrival at Moscow Domodedovo airport and released.

No further action is requested from the UA network. Many thanks to all who sent appeals.
