Nikša Violić has been discharged from hospital and has been declared as being temporarily unfit for military service. He is currently at home.

Amnesty International is investigating further reports of his ill-treatment by military police officers while still in hospital. Criminal charges are still in process against him in connection with his refusal to perform military service. These concerns will be the subject of other Amnesty International actions. No further action is necessary from the Urgent Action network. Thank you to all who participated in this action.
