AI is concerned for the safety of Father Leonard Kamalebo, a Roman Catholic priest in the diocese of Uvira, South-Kivu province. He is being actively sought by members of the security forces for his criticism of the AFDL-led government. Fearing that they may kill him, he has gone into hiding.
