AI has learned that Hamza Guneri was brought before a judge on 26 September, charged and then committed to Agri prison. The Anti-Terror Branch at Agri Police Headquarters had previously claimed that he had escaped from police custody. Nothing is known about the charges against him or his treatment in detention.
