Chini Maqsoud and an unnamed man may be at risk of imminent flogging for their involvement in a party deemed by judicial authorities to be “depraved”. Entertainers at the party, which was held on 21 September in Mashhad, northeastern Iran, were also arrested shortly afterwards.
