Oral intervention: Statement to United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women

The organization urges the Committee to explore the lack of access to justice arising from laws and policies that are themselves not compliant with the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) obligations, including the additional barriers to fair trial for women who are stigmatized by the perceived lack of conformity with prevalent gender norms.
