Shamu Masih and Javed Masih: On 27 August 1997 the above named were granted a further 30-day stay of execution by the Presidnet of Pakistan, to allow the member of Parliament acting on their behalf more time to reach a settlement with the relatives of those Shamu and Javed Masih were convicted of murdering.
