Ran Yunfei has been put under “residential surveillance”. Hua Chunhui has been sent home to serve the rest of his term on medical grounds. Ding Mao, Chen Wei and Liang Haiyi remain in detention awaiting trial. They are at risk of torture and other ill-treatment.
