This report highlights the urgent need for the Government to commit itself fully to ending human rights violations and implementing its existing and new obligations under international human rights law. Parts I and II illustrate the entrenched nature of certain human rights violations in the country, concentrating on the constitutional and judicial crisis and the plight of evictees. In Part III of the report Amnesty International has made a number of recommendations to the Government, in the hope that they will contribute to improving the protection of human rights for all Swazis. \n\n
