Issa Palkoubou, a teacher in the Chadian capital, Ndjamena, has not been seen since his abduction on 3 September 2008. Amnesty International believes that he may still be alive, and could be in the custody of Chadian security forces at an unknown location. He is at risk of torture and other ill-treatment, and of being killed.
