This is a submission to the South African Law Committee discussing its draft of Criminal Law (Sexual Offences) Amendment Bill. It examines the draft in particular to its definition of rape, evidentiary rules and permissible offences, the authority to terminate an investigation, the protection of witnesses and other aspects.
