Activist and radio presenter, Filiberto Vicente Aquino, received a death threat on 20 March 2013 after covering a press conference about the opposition to the construction of a wind farm near San Mateo del Mar, in the Tehuantepec Isthmus, Oaxaca State. Others opposing the wind farm have also been temporarily detained.
