George Macfarlane

George Macfarlane is Senior Director for Organizational Service at Amnesty International. He is a qualified chartered accountant with 14 years senior management experience in the international NGO sector. He has lived, studied and/or worked in Denmark, The Netherlands, Ireland and Belgium for 16 of the past 18 years. Most recently, he worked with Oxfam International as Operations Director. Prior to that, he was with Greenpeace International for nine years, latterly as Organisational Director.
