Tjalling J. S. Tiemstra

Tjalling, a Dutch national, graduated as a Chartered Accountant and has a masters degree in Business Administration. Having worked 22 years for a leading international manufacturer and in various senior financial and general management positions in the Netherlands, UK, Mexico, Poland and Germany, he joined the board of management of a large electrotechnical wholesaler with operations in 25 countries around the world.  Tjalling is now involved in a range of mainly business related activities and was co-opted onto the IEC in September 2008.
